Purchasing a bank owned home can be a good deal.  Banks don’t want to be in the home owning business, therefore, they provide buyers and agents with great incentives to get into their homes.  The process can be daunting if there are multiple offers or repairs that need to be made.

Get rid of the emotions

So it's time to sell your home. The first thing to do is disconnect. The more you do the easier it will be to set the stage, and set the price for what the market will bear.

Unless you are an interior designer by trade, remove your personal style. Take the bright colors down and repaint with pastels and soothing creams. We want to entice the buyer and make them feel at home, not shock them.

Repair what needs to be repaired! Don't cover it up, because the home inspector will find it and more days on the market will be added. You want a quick and easy sell, not one that has continuous issues.

There are many surpluses and fix-it-yourself supply stores that should meet your price point if that is a concern, let us know and we'll suggest some for you.

Curb appeal is real. Many buyers will drive right by a home for sale if the yard is unkempt or the landscaping is missing. A few small bushes, plants and a small tree will add value to your home and bring the buyers in.
